Attraction Marketing vs. Old School Marketing

I’ve neglected my personal blog here, because I have been busy learning about the new way of marketing called attraction marketing. I’ve been taking a network marketing internet training course called Renegade University by Mike Klingler and Ann Sieg.

What I like about the Renegade University training is that Mike does (Click-by-Click) video tutorials and very thorough with his training. There are over a couple of hundred video tutorials of training and setting up on content sharing, article marketing, social marketing, blogs, websites, lead capture pages and etc.

So has you can see I’ve had a lot of training to go through. I must say I’ve learned a lot of stuff in the past couple of months. But the most important thing that I have learned was about Attraction Marketing the new way of network marketing today.

You might be wondering how important the word marketing is in network marketing. The old methods of network marketing struggle today and while they may have been effective even a decade ago, today it’s a different story.

This is simply because you run out of potential prospects to speak with. Does this perhaps sound familiar?

“We want you to get a list of everyone’s name that you have ever spoken to and then contact them to get them to a meeting in three days!”

The reality is that these methods are decades old and they will continue to struggle in today’s internet dominated environment. The problem with the system is that you are speaking to people that really just are not interested in you or your offer.

The image of network marketing has been tarnished somewhat by persistent distributors who can’t understand why someone will not want to take a look at their opportunity.

It is true that you should work your warm market and at least let your close family and friends know about your new business. You can even send out postcards to your friends, but make sure that you give them a little value instead of hitting them with an unwelcome sales pitch.

The main idea behind attraction marketing is that you need to develop a relationship with your prospects. The initial contact is extremely important, but so is the time directly afterwards.

Attraction marketing and personal branding is considered by the elite and most successful internet network marketers to be the one and only choice for a long term, full time income.

Imagine getting calls from complete strangers who are willing and ready to do business with you on a daily basis. These people feel like they know you; trust you and ultimately, will be successful working with you. That is a prime example, and the goal of attraction marketing.
